Challenges of public innovation in municipalities

Abstract

Currently, the public sector is going through a big question about the relationship it has with citizens in the current crisis of trust. This document presents the experience of implementing a public innovation management project in a Chilean municipality, which aimed to install the permanent culture and practice of innovation through the co-creation of public value. Co-creation is presented as a methodology to solve public problems based on the active collaboration of all the actors involved.
