This text describes the history of human rights in Mexico, with its recent institutionalization and its current application. It brackets the creation of human rights with the way in which they are applied as public policy to support the inequalities to which members of vulnerable groups are subjected, with the intention of empowering people under the premise of human dignity as an end. last of rights and comply with international standards on human rights. The development of public policies with a human rights focus includes certain elements such as: transversality, gender perspective, equality and non-discrimination, citizen participation and civil society organizations, progressivity, pro-person principle and accountability.Downloads
