Abstract

The Russian Revolution and the Mexican Revolution were two social and political movements that emerged at the dawn of the 20th century, developing almost in parallel. Although with different dimensions, they had an undeniable impact on each of the nations where they were developed, as well as on the international level. However, their relationships were distant, and even with friction, so it is worth asking what were the factors that intervened to make this happen. The text analyzes three aspects: 1) the influence of communist thought in the Mexican revolutionary ranks, 2) the development of communist groups and 3) the links that the post-revolutionary regime and Mexican workers' groups established with the outside world.
