This article presents mechanisms used in global environmental governance, who is the main actor that uses the mechanism and what its result has been. Understanding how the mechanisms have been presented in governance and what was intended with them is essential to be able to speculate about what is next in the fight to reduce environmental deterioration. The necessary elements are presented so that the reader can criticize the operation of these tools.Downloads
